Parcul VerdeGeneral Info Parcul Verde "Green Park" din Londra, cu 19 hectare, este cel mai mic dintre cele 8 Royal Paks. Foarte aproape de Buckingham Palace, desi de origine umila, a devenit in scurt timp, parcul regal favorit: Regele Charles II, de exemplu, l-a folosit pentru divertismentul oaspetilor; de asemenea a fost un loc preferat de catre Regina Caroline, sotia regelui George II. Acest loc linistit, cu arbori si pasuni, este de multe ori cautat de catre persoanele care triesc , lucreaza sau sunt in vizita in Londra; este dechis in fiecare zi tot anul si este strajuit de Queenn's Walk (Garzile Reginii), Piccadilly si Constitutia Circle. O curiozita: Green Park a fost folosit in anul 1746 pentu a sarbatori sfarsitul razboiului pentru seccesiune Hanoverian cu un partid national cu focuri de artificiu (in acesat ocazie Handel a scris " Music for the Royal Fireworks").
