ChelseaGeneral Info Multumita caii ferate construite in anul 18701, Chelsea devine o zona comerciala. In scurt timp i se atribuie numele de “plaman bolnav” datorita localurilor zgomotoase si a bordelurilor construite in zona. In urma deschiderii magazinului Marcy in anul 1901, acest cartier isi recastiga un nume respectabil; acum, fiind in aproprierea marilor magazine si a Saptea Strada ( Seventh Avenue), este cunoscuta ca “Fashion Avenue”.
